Weight Watchers Christmas menu - dessert

Christmas comes the whole family together, it is much talked and laughed - and of course eaten. Even those who pay attention to his figure, would like to treat themselves on these special days something. However, many typical Christmas dinners have a lot of fat and many calories. Thanks to Weight Watchers, a delicious Christmas dinner is no longer a problem, because a fine meal does not necessarily mean a lot of calories and fat.

Baked apples with vanilla sauce

For 6 people:

  • 6 apples (eg Jonathan or Boskoop)
  • 4 spoonfuls
  • 4 teaspoons orange marmalade
  • 2 tsp apple juice
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 3 tsp almond flakes

For the vanilla sauce:

  • 250 ml low-fat milk
  • 1 packet of custard powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons eggnog

1. Cut out the core of the apples with an apple cutter. Crumble the sponge fingers and mix with the jam, apple juice and cinnamon. Fill the apples with them and put them in a baking dish (about 25x20 cm), which has been painted with oil. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C (gas: stage 3, circulating air: 180 ° C) on the middle rack for approx. 25 minutes.

2. For the vanilla sauce, mix 6 tablespoons of milk with the sauce powder. Bring remaining milk with sugar to a boil. Stir in sauce powder and bring to a boil while stirring. Stir in the egg liqueur. Let the vanilla sauce cool lukewarm, stirring occasionally. Serve together with the baked apple. Preparation time: approx. 25 minutes I Cooking time: approx. 30 minutes

Tip: For children remove a portion of vanilla sauce and stir the egg liqueur under the rest.
