After whom was the "G-spot" named?

The German gynecologist Ernst Gräfenberg made the discovery in 1944. He found that the vagina walls are sensitive too. Especially a lentil-sized spot on the anterior vagina wall, which is named after the physician G (Gräfenberg) point.
Next to the G-spot is the Gräfenberg Ring (a ring wrapped in silver wire that is inserted into the uterus like the spiral for contraception). Among other things, Gräfenberg has also developed the first ovulation test.
