Polyphenols - protection against radicals
The polyphenols are among the phytochemicals. They have a strong antioxidant effect, ie they can scavenge free radicals, which lead to cell damage in our organism by oxidation. Due to its high antioxidant potential, polyphenols are said to have a protective effect on many degenerative diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease.
