Recipe: pizza waffles
Ingredients for 4 people: For the dough: 250 g flour 1 tsp pizza spice, 1 tsp salt 250 ml buttermilk, 2 eggs (M) 80 ml fine rapeseed oil slightly rapeseed oil for the waffle iron For the toppings: 8 tablespoons tomato ketchup 2 tablespoons tomato paste 100 g mushrooms 1 TL Fine rape oil 50 g Mettwurst 100 g Edam in slices Parsley for garnish Preparation
- Put flour with pizza spice and salt in a bowl. Mix with buttermilk, eggs, and rapeseed oil to a smooth dough.
- Brush waffle iron with a little rapeseed oil and heat. Add a ladle of batter (or 3-4 tablespoons) and bake the waffle crispy brown. Bake three more waffles until the dough is used up.
- Stir tomato ketchup with tomato paste. Clean mushrooms, clean and slice. Heat rape oil in a pan. Fry the mushrooms in it for a short time. Place waffles on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush with tomato sauce. Cover with mushrooms, Mettwurst slices and Edam. Melt the cheese under the preheated grill.
