<p><a href="http://www.buzzle.com/articles/green-tea/">Green tea</a> has been a regular staple of cultures in China, Japan, and the Middle East for centuries. It’s only in recent years that the U.S. and other countries have begun drinking green tea and researching the health benefits that other countries have suspected for decades.</p>

<p>Green tea is made from the leaves of a plant called Camellia sinensis, a large shrub that grows freely throughout Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The tea is processed with minimal oxidation from unfermented leaves. For example, fruit flavored drinks and soft drinks are not a substitute for real fruit. Many of these drinks only contain 10% real fruit juice. The very best drinks are made from whole fruit and you can make great fruity healthy drinks at<br />
home.</p>
<p><strong>Ok here are some easy tips on how to make homemade fruit and vegetable juices:</strong></p>

<p>1. You&#8217;ll need an inexpensive juice machine.</p>
<p>2. All fruits and vegetables should be juiced raw.</p>

<p>3. Small seeded fruit, such as watermelon and pears, may be juiced with their seeds with the exception of papaya and apple seeds. Orange and grapefruit seeds might impart a bitter taste to your juice. Remove the large pits from fruits like peaches and nectarines, etc.</p>
<p>4. Peel all fruits and vegetables that are not organically grown because the peel is where most of the chemical residues can be found. While most skins of organically grown fruits and vegetables may be left on, with the exception of waxed produce, the skins of pineapples, kiwis, oranges, grapefruits and papaya should be removed.</p>

<p>5. Choose fresh ripe produce. Rubbery vegetables, bruised fruit, wilted greens and over or under-ripe fruits will produce juices that are neither tasty nor healthful.</p>
<p>6. Cut the fruits or vegetables into pieces that will fit into the mouth of your juice machine. Turn the juice machine on and push the pieces through the mouth of the juicer. As you juice, pulp will collect in a large receptacle. If you don&#8217;t clean the pulp out right away, it will develop a sour odor and tiny gnats and fruit flies may appear after 8 to 10 hours.</p>

Don&#8217;t rush it, don&#8217;t crash and don&#8217;t expect too much of yourself too soon. Life is for the living; for the making of mistakes and learning from them. Below I have outlined my <strong>5 Keys to Fat Loss Success</strong> so that you can not only lose fat but keep it off &#8212; forever:</p>

Set realistic short-term goals:</strong> The best way to think of these is as &#8220;mini-goals.&#8221; When I was actively training in road racing I didn&#8217;t start out running a marathon. I first started with smaller mileage races and each time I would try to better my time &#8212; and better my distance &#8212; until I was running a competitive marathon. There is no way to reach such a huge long-term goal without a few mini-goals along the way. What are your mini-goals?</p>
<p><strong>2. Short-term goals should lead you to long-term goals:</strong> Allow for occasional setbacks along the way, but regard them as learning experiences. That&#8217;s the beauty of short-term, or mini, goals. You can make a few missteps along the way and still reach your ultimate goal, as long as you simply learn from your misstep and get back on track.</p>

<p><strong>3. Set a training schedule and stick to it:</strong> It helps to have a contract with yourself; how formal a &#8220;contract&#8221; is up to you. Some clients put the schedule in writing; others tack it to their fridge or keep a sticky-note in their wallets. Some keep it in their heads, but all do one thing in common: stick to it.</p>
<p><strong>4. Listen to Your Body:</strong> If I&#8217;ve taught you one thing in this book it&#8217;s to listen to your body. We talked about not eating too much, stuffing, and not eating too little, starving. Your body sends you signals when it&#8217;s too full or too empty; listening to them is one way to stay in balance. Your exercise should be the same. Fatigue is a sign to take a break, and it&#8217;s OK to do so. The old adage of &#8220;no pain, no gain&#8221; has gone by the wayside.</p>
